Developing the Quanser QDrone

The recent development of the Quanser QDrone, the feature vehicle of our Autonomous Vehicles Research Studio, took us on a journey from its initial validation through the virtual flight simulation to the actual take-off.

Get more insights into the methodology and tools we used, including an iterative rapid control prototyping, 2 DOF gimbal, and Unreal Engine-based visualization to create a safe starting point for more advanced flight control research applications.
