The Boeing 737 Max crashes further reinforced the importance of safety-critical software design. Training engineers who are qualified and experienced in this field requires a special strategy. A conceptual role: Perfect Oracle Quinn is mentioned in the "overarching properties" method, which aims to bring an alternative approach to certification. We prefer to interpret this role as competent engineers who can evaluate every aspect of the function they have designed. We have developed a setup consisting of 2 DOF Inverted Pendulums and two torsional modules using Quanser products to train such engineers. Each engineer involved in the project has tasks that require, for example, to draw a letter Q with a pivot point of the pendulum in the shortest time while balancing a quail egg depicting his own life. Thus, it takes a shorter time for new engineers to acquire a much more safety-oriented design approach to existing projects.
