Engineering Science Smart Worksheets
Complementing practical teaching and experimental lab work, these digital worksheets are a collection of ready-made, online and auto-graded assessments tailored to operate perfectly with selected experimental kits in TecQuipment's Engineering Science product line.
A Conversation with NASA Intern Bobby Randolph
In this video, TecQuipment talks with Robert Randolph, a Ph.D. student studying Aerospace Engineering who interned at NASA twice. Learn about the projects he has worked on, future missions he would like to join, and the future of space technology.
Paul Karam, Mixed Reality Research
We are almost a quarter through the 21st century, yet self-driving cars are still in their infancy. Join us for an exciting webinar where we begin to ask intriguing questions about the future of Self Driving technologies. We will cover the investments required for infrastructure (physical, virtual, and mixed) and the necessary architectures for researchers to take full advantage of the age of the smart car.
Dr. Eric Hamke, University of New Mexico
The WHY lab at the University of New Mexico is an Electrical and Computer Engineering resource open to all students who wish to pursue their research or class projects. In this webinar, Dr. Hamke will discuss his student-centric approach to encouraging and supporting engineering students – from undergraduate to graduate level - to find creative solutions in a project-oriented environment. The process will be illustrated with Quanser QDrone-related projects and their solutions.
Michel Levis, Model Identification and Control Design of an Aerospace System
In this webinar, we will show how to use the MathWorks System Identification Toolbox to identify the model of the system. A PID-based cascade control is then designed to regulate the rotor speed and pitch position. The MathWorks Symbolic Math Toolbox is used in the third-order PID control design.
TUSAŞ Engine Industries, Safety Critical Controller Design Training Setup
The Boeing 737 Max crashes further reinforced the importance of safety-critical software design. Training engineers who are qualified and experienced in this field requires a special strategy. A conceptual role: Perfect Oracle Quinn is mentioned in the "overarching properties" method, which aims to bring an alternative approach to certification. We prefer to interpret this role as competent engineers who can evaluate every aspect of the function they have designed. We have developed a setup consisting of 2 DOF Inverted Pendulums and two torsional modules using Quanser products to train such engineers.
